Born in Canberra, Australia, Jessie Jacobs was the middle child of Joanna and Brendan Jacobs. She was the sister of Adam, Seth and Charlie. Jessie began acting when she was 9. She was in stage productions alongside Lisa McCune and Bert Newton in ''The Sound of Music''. Jessie also starred in "Fergus McPhail", "Worst Best Friends", and "Holly's Heroes". She studied ballet and classical violin when she was six. She eventually learned how to play the bass guitar.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Forever young: mourners farewell Jessica )〕 In 2003 Jessie and Janelle Corlass-Brown released a CD Single for their song "Trouble" and they were both featured on "Friends Forever". She took over the role of Melanie Atwood on "The Saddle Club" after Marisa Siketa left the show. In the months before her death Jessie Jacobs took a break from acting to focus on school and music.
